We will do a 1 way hike in the beautiful and seldom visited Indian Creek portion of the Pike National Forest located approximately 10 miles west of Sedalia off of Highway 67.  Our hike is between Roxborough State Park to the east and the South Platte River to the west.  We will drop 1 or more car atRoxborough and drive down to Indian Creek trhd, about 30 min away. We will start our hike at Indian Creek trhd. After 1.5 mi we will go right on Ringtail trail, go 6 mi and then eventually end up in Roxborough State park. It is undulating terrain with several sections of steep uphill and downhill portions.

We expect hike to take 8+ hr, we will hike at a pace of 30-45min miles. We have to be out of Roxborough by closure at 7pm. Some this hike will be exploratory as leaders have not hiked the middle portion of Ringtail trail.

A short carpool and/or car shuttle needed. See updated CMC info at link below re COVID -19 management which indicate that carpooling is at the discretion of participants.
