Backcountry Snowsports Initiative

The Backcountry Snowsports Initiative (BSI) is part of Colorado Mountain Club's Conservation program dedicated to representing Colorado's human-powered winter recreation community.  Our mission is to be a voice to defend recreation opportunities for backcountry skiers, snowboarders, snowshoers and winter hikers, and build community around these types of recreation and conservation of the wild lands that sustain them.
