The Western Slope Group represents about 100 CMC members located in Western Colorado. We bring together people who love the outdoors and are looking for others to share those interests. In addition to the fellowship, our monthly meetings include educational activities, environmental issue updates, trip reports and programs.
Our favorite activities include hiking, backpacking, camping, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, peak climbs and canyoneering (canyon hiking). The Club periodically conducts educational courses to promote increased knowledge and skills in being safe in enjoying the outdoors. Ask about our current programs.
The Western Slope Club meets 7 PM on the 1st Wednesday of each month in the lower level of American National Bank building at 131 North 6th, Grand Junction, using the northeast entry (except in the Summer months when pot luck picnics are held instead).
We hope you can join us for a hike, even if you are not a member.
